Phillips Petroleum Co.. The Company is organized into four business segments: Exploration and Production: explores and produces crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids; Gas Gathering, Processing and Marketing: gathers and processes natural gas produced by the Company and others. In 2000, the Company combined this segment with the gas gathering, processing, marketing and natural gas liquids business of Duke Energy Field Services, LLC; Refining, Marketing and Transportation: refines, markets and transports crude oil and petroleum products; Chemicals: manufactures and markets petrochemicals and plastics on a worldwide basis. In 2000, the Company and Chevron Corporation combined their worldwide chemicals businesses, excluding Chevron's Oronite business, into a new company, Chevron Phillips Chemicals Company LLC. Refining, marketing and transportation accounted for 53% of 2000 revenues; exploration and production, 37%; chemicals, 8% and gas gathering, processing and marketing, 2%.
