Company Description
Jones Group Plc distributes oil, imports and distributes liquefied petroleum gas and distributes industrial fasteners. The Group also manufactures radiators, steel tube and circuit boards. During the year, the Group disposed of its shipping and manufacturing division and post the year end completed the disposal of its distribution division. Operations are carried out in Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Group now holds the resulting cash on its balance sheet and intends to return to its shareholders as soon as possible. Distribution division accounted for 95% of 1998 revenues, Manufacturing division 4% and Shipping 1%.
