Chambers Development Company Inc is one of the largest providers of intergrated solid waste services in the United States. Major elements of the business include collecting, hauling, recycling and disposal in more than 100 municipals and from 24,000 customers. In late 1992 the company began restructuring its various business segments. This included the sale of its security services business (in late 1992) and various other assets in 1993 that did not meet strategic performances. The company is about to merge with 'USA Waste Services Inc.' and will become effected upon the issuance of a certificate of merger by the Secretary of State of Delaware.
