Waste Industries USA, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to render integrated solid waste services. The services rendered by the Group include waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services. It serves commercial, residential and industrial customers. The operations are conducted through 34 collection centers, 28 transfer stations, approximately 60 county convenience drop-off centers, 12 recycling facilities and 10 landfills, serving more than 700,000 municipal, residential, commercial and industrial service locations. The Group acquired D&D Disposal, Southland Disposal and A Plus Disposal, Inc. on 2-Mar-2005 and assets of Moriah Industries Llc on 05-Aug-2005. On July 2005 acquired a multi-service collection operation and facility from Mark Dunning Industries in the Nashville.
