California Water Service Group. The Group's principal activity is to provide water supply and related services through its subsidiaries. The services of the Group include production, purchase, storage, treatment, testing, distribution and sale of water for domestic, industrial, public and irrigation uses, and for fire protection. The Group also provides non-regulated water-related services under agreements with municipalities and other private companies. As of 31-Dec-2006, it served approximately 460,900 customers in 83 California communities through 26 separate districts. The Group operates in the San Francisco bay area, Sacramento valley, Salinas valley, San Joaquin valley, Los Angeles area, Hawaii, New Mexico and Washington.
