Brunner Investment Trust PLC (The). The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve a total return higher than that of the benchmark index of 60% FTSE All-Share and 40% FTSE World Index (ex-UK sterling adjusted) over the long term. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Part VIII of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Nov-2005.Investment management services are provided by RCM (UK) Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.45% per annum (including VAT) of the value of the assets after deduction of current liabilities, short term loans under one year and other funds managed by RCM.
