Company Description
Tribune Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust Company. The objectives of the Company are to maximise the total return from capital and income through selective investment in international markets based on Global Managed Fund, and to provide long-term growth of capital and income through investment in the United Kingdom market in line with the FTSE All-Share Index based on UK Index Fund. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Dec-2003.Investment management services are provided by Barring Asset Management Ltd for a fee calculated at 0.5% per annum on the value of the gross assets of the Global Managed Fund, and by Barclays Global Investors Ltd at 0.125% per annum on the value of the gross assets of the UK Index Fund. Operates as an Investment Trust Company
