Community First Banking Company is a multi bank holding company and a state chartered commercial bank. The company conducts its operations through its subsidiaries, CFB Securities, Inc., CFB Financial Inc. and CFB Insurance Agency, Inc. The customary banking services provided by the company include accepting deposits, orignating consumer loans, commercial business loans and other mortgage loans. The company also provides traditional brokerage services and products, consumer finance commercial checking accounts, insurance products and MasterCard and Visa credit cards. The company conducts its operations through seven branch offices in western Georgia. Interest and fees on loans accounted for 75% of 1999 revenues; other interest income, 14% and non-interest income, 11%.
