The Company is a multi bank holding Company operating through two wholly owned subsidiaries: Security Bank of Bibb County (SB-Bibb) and Security Bank of Houston County (SB-Houston). The Group offers a full range of services that includes accepting deposits, lending services (including a specialized mortgage division), internet banking, safe deposits boxes, ATMs, night depositories and credit cards. The Group also operates a full service commercial banking services and provides a wide range of banking services which includes checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, agricultural, consumer, commercial and real estate loans. The services of the Group are provided to consumers and small to medium size businesses primarily in central Georgia. The Group operates 12 offices in Macon, Georgia, Houston County and Warner Robins. Interest and fees on loans accounted for 74% of 2000 revenues; other interest income, 9% and non-interest income, 17%.
