Harrington commenced commercial lending operations in Kansas and full service banking facility in Mission, Kansas. The bank invests in mortgage-backed and related securities and originates loans secured by single-family residence located primarily in Indiana. The company also provides trust, investment management and custody services for individuals and institutions through Harrington Wealth Management Company. Interest & fees on loans accounted for 63% of fiscal 2001 revenues; other interest income, 24% and non-interest income, 13%. Accepts deposits from the general public and originates loans through seven full service offices in Indiana and North Carolina
