The Group's wholly owned subsidiary, Madison Service Corporation offers mutual funds and brokerage services to customers. During 2005, the yield curve flattened, causing the spread between the interest rates charged on adjustable-rate and fixed-rate mortgage loans to become smaller than that experienced during the past few years.
