Company Description
Capstead Securities Corporation IV. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Capstead Mortgage Corporation. The Company issues and sells collateralized mortgage obligations, collateralized by mortgage-backed and pass-through certificates which evidence an interest in a pool of mortgage loans secured by single-family residences. The pledged certificates include Ginnie Mae Certificates, Fannie Mae Certificates and Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation Certificates or mortgage pass-through Certificates. The Company has been approved as an investment trust under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Issues and sells collateralized mortgage obligations, collateralized by mortgage-backed and pass-through certificates
