Compagnie Financiere du Sud Ouest ( formerly known as Expanso SDR (Societe de Developpement Regionale)) is a bank which provides loans, development capital and a range of financial services to the industrial sector in the south west of France, known as the Aquitaine region. In 1993 the former Expanso SDR acquired Auxitex to form Compagnie Financiere du Sud Ouest. Cie Financiere du Sud-Ouest is to become a holding company with two newly formed subsidiaries, also called Expanso SDR and Auxitex. Interest on fees and loans accounted for 50% of 1994 revenues; interest on bank deposits, 45%; other interest income, 4% and non-interest income, 1%.
