Company Description
Schroders PLC. The Group's principal activity is providing asset management services for institutional, retail and private clients. It has offices grouped under four regional management structures covering the United Kingdom, Americas, continental Europe and Asia Pacific. The Group operates through its businesses, Asset Management, Private Banking, Private Equity and Group Net Income/(Costs). Asset management comprises investment management including advisory services, property and other alternative assets. Private Banking comprises investment management and banking services provided to high net worth individuals and certain smaller institutions. Private Equity comprises the Group's investments in private equity, venture and buy-out funds and related vehicles. Group Net Income/Costs consists of income on the Group's liquid and seed capital less Group costs and provisions, and the results of the leasing business and the residual assets.
