IFS Capital Limited Formerly known as International Factors (Singapore) Limited. The Group's principal activities are carried out into four segments: Financing; Insurance; Venture capital; and Investment and others. Financing segment focuses on providing services to corporate clients, mainly the small and medium enterprises. The service provided include factoring/accounts receivable financing, trade financing, mortgage financing, working capital, syndicated loans, hire purchase, financing under the Singapore government's Local Enterprise Finance Scheme and Enterprise Development Fund. Insurance segment provides credit insurance facilities to Singapore exporters and the issue of performance bonds and securities. Venture capital segment is the acquisition, holding and disposal of equity interests in private companies. Investment and others segment is the long-term investments in overseas joint ventures and financial instruments.
