The Money Store provides services to more than 340,000 customers with a network of 185 branch offices in 44 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The company is a national leader in three areas - home equity lending, government-guaranteed small businees lending and government-guaranteed student lending. Other activities include auto finance. Sale of receivables accounted for 69% of 1997 revenues and finance income, fees earned and other, 31%.
