The Group collects, organizes and manages various types of credit, financial, public record, demographic and marketing information regarding individuals and businesses. The Group's products are classified as Information Services, Marketing Services and Consumer Direct Services. The Information services allow customers to make credit decisions about consumers and commercial enterprises. Marketing Services information products and databases enable customers to identify a target audience for marketing purposes and Consumer Direct Services provide information to consumers that enable them to reduce their exposure to identity fraud and to monitor their credit health. The Group operates in 14 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Brazil. On 09-Oct-2006, it acquired Austin Consolidated Holdings, Inc., known as Austin-Tetra. Equifax North America accounted for 80% of 2006 revenues; Equifax Europe, 10% and Equifax Latin America, 10%
