N. Brown Group P.L.C.. The Group's principal activity is retailing through direct home shopping. It also provides fulfillment and financial services. These make up its three divisions. Home shopping offers a range of value for money products in clothing, footwear and household and electrical goods. Products are marketed through bi-annual catalogues supplemented by smaller monthly brochures and targeted media advertising. Fulfillment markets to existing retailers wanting to enter the distance shopping market through catalogues and the Internet. Financial services promotes the sale of financial products such as creditor insurance, loans, life and general insurances and warranty cover to its existing home shopping customers. In May 2005, the Group disposed of Teleview Direct Ltd. Also in 2005, the Group disposed of First Financial Ltd.
