Dansk Kautionsforsikrings A/S is a surety insurance company, which provides guarantees for loans, trade and export credits, and issues contract and supplier guarantees. Other operations include fidelity guarantee insurance, customs guarantees, reinsurance and real estate operations. Dansk Kautionsforsikrings A/S is a member of the International Credit Insurance Association, ICIA, which enables the company to assist Danish enterprises operating in foreign countries. A reinsurance agreement with the Danish Export Credit Fund became effective in 1996, which means that the company is able to offer its clients cover of political risks. Surety insurance income accounted for 46% of 1997 revenues; investment income, 28% and other income, 26%.
