ARI Holdings, Inc is a holding company which through its principal wholly owned subsidiary, American Reliance Casualty Company (Casualty) and its parent, American Reliance Insurance Company (Mutual) formerly offered property and casualty insurance to small and medium size businesses in New Jersey and the Eastern United States. On June 30, 1993 the company transferred all of its insurance business (other than its New Jersey automobile business and its Florida business) written on or after January 1, 1989 to Vik Brothers Insurance Inc. The company continues to retain its insurance licenses, but have not written any new business and does not intend to write any new business in the foreseeable future. The board of directors have adopted a plan of liquidation and dissolution to be approved by shareholders on May 16 1995. Premiums earned accounted for 1% of 1994 revenues; investment income, 26% & other, 73%.
