Avemco Corporation's major subsidiaries provide specialty property and casualty insurance products and services, principally involving general aviation. Insurance operations are currently concentrated in four main insurance products: general aviation, lenders single interest, pleasure marine, and short-term health. These specialty services supplement the group's insurance activities are claims management and related services, worldwide emergency assistance services for travelers outside their home country, specialty insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and computer software systems for the property/casualty insurance industry. Premiums earned accounted for 71% of 1995 revenues; computer products and services, 9%; net investment income, 8%; commissions, 6%; and other, 6%.
