Huerlimann Holding AG, founded in 1836, is a traditional Zurich-based brewery which produces various brands of beer, and markets them under its own name and its subsidiary Loewenbraeu. In addition, it produces mineral water under the brand name of 'Aqui', franchises non-alcoholic beverages as well as Carlsberg & Tuborg beers and rents out its own premisses. The company has no foreign subsidiaries. Own products accounted for 33% of fiscal 1995 revenues; merchandise products, 43%; property & restaurant rental income, 15%; contract works & ancillary products, 4% and license products, 5%.
