Suncrush Limited

Suncrush Limited was a soft drinks manufacturer and distributor with franchise agreements with Coca Cola of South Africa governing the area in which it was entitled to operate. In January 1997 the company distributed it's holdings in Tempora Investments Ltd and Ettington Investments Ltd by way of dividend in specie to it's shareholders, so as to provide a separate listing for it's bottling operation and to give it's shareholders a direct investment in Tempora and Ettington. On 4th January 1998 the company sold its soft drinks business to Amalgamated Beverage Industries Ltd (ABI). The proceeds of this sale were distributed to the company's shareholders and thereafter the company was liquidated.
