La Doria Spa. The Group's principal activities are to produce canned fruit, fruit juices, tomato-based products (peeled, chopped and strained tomatoes, ready-to-serve sauces), canned pulses and pasta and similar products. The Group mostly sells its production to the Italian and European largest retail groups such as GS Euromercato, Sainsbury, Tesco and Safeway. These retail groups distribute La Doria products under their own labels. A small part of the production is sold under the Group's own brand on the domestic market only. In 2004, the Group acquired Confruit G SpA.
