The Group's principal activities are the production and marketing of liquid milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter, long-life milk products (ice cream and buttermilk) and milk constituents (lactose, milk proteins, and whey derivatives). The Group's brands include: Campina, Campina Vifit, Mona, Landliebe, Yazoo, Fruttis, Joyvalle, Smakija, Milner, Botergoud, Buttergold, Passendale, DMV International, Esprion, Lactoval, Aerion, Textrion, Pharmatose, Respitose, Primojel and Primellose. The Group is also active in the business-to-business market supplying ingredients to the food and pharmaceutical industries. In 2005, the Group acquired the Belgian milk fat specialist Aveve Zuivel NV.
