Lifeway Foods, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to produce and market probiotic, cultured, functional dairy and non-dairy health food products. The Group's products are kefir, a drinkable product in several flavors, plain farmer's cheeses, fruit sugar-flavored products which are dairy based beverage. These are sold under the names Lifeway Kefir, Farmers cheese, Sweet Kiss, Basics Plus, Elita, Kwashenka and Kefir starter. It also produces several soy-based products named Soy Treat and a vegetable-based seasoning named Golden Zesta. The Group operates a restaurant/supper club, through a wholly owned subsidiary LFI Enterprises, Inc. It currently sells the products to various retail establishments including supermarkets, grocery stores, gourmet shops, delicatessens and convenience stores. The products of the Group are marketed through out the United States, Canada and Russia. On 31-Jul-2006, the Group acquired Helios Nutrition Limited.
