CoolBrands International Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are the manufacturing and distribution of branded frozen dessert products. These products are supplied to supermarkets, grocery stores, club stores, convenience stores, gourmet shops and delicatessens in Canada, the United States and other foreign countries. The Group also manufactures and distributes soft serve frozen yogurt and ice cream mixes. The Group also markets a broad range of frozen novelties and frozen dessert products under the Tropicana, Welch's, Weight Watchers Smart Ones, Trix, Yoplait, Betty Crocker and other brand names. During the fiscal year 2002, the Group acquired Fruit a Freeze and Chipwich Inc. Prepackaged consumer products accounted for 64% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Diary components, 15%; Foodservice, 11% and Franchising and Licensing, 10%.
