Bourbon Formerly known as Groupe Bourbon. The Group's principal activity is the distribution of products and the provision of marine services. Their activities are organised into three divisions: Offshore: maintenance and repairing of plat-forms, towing and raising of anchors, assistance to offshore petrol and gas terminals. Towing and Salvage: with two towing operators, Les Abeilles, which operates in French terminals and ports as well as the Indian Ocean and Les Abeilles international, which ensures the protection of the French Shoreline by organising the entire rescue and salvaging activities under the supervision of the National Navy. Bulk transport: passenger transport and cruises, bulk transport operating mainly in the Atlantic, Indian Ocean as well as Far East; and Other activities: distribution: retail and wholesale distribution in Madagascar, Reunion and Vietnam, and sugar: production of sugar cane, sugar and its derivatives for industrial use. Distribution accounted for 41% of 2005 revenues; Offshore, 28%; Bulk Transport, 19%; and Towing & Salvage, 12%
