Company Description
Greencore Group plc. The Group's principal activity is manufacturing and supplying convenience foods and ingredients to consumer, industrial and food service markets. The Group's operations are carried out through its Convenience Food, and Ingredients and Agribusiness division. The Convenience Food produces sandwiches, pizza and chilled sauces in the Netherlands, as well as character pasteten in Ireland and Germany. This division is also a supplier of mineral water and producer of bottled recipe products such as cooking sauces. The Ingredients and Agribusiness manufactures and distributes sugar, malt, grains, oil, fats, starch, molasses, flour and yeast. The property business relates to the development and trading of surplus property assets. The Group's clients include Boots, British Airways, Budweiser, Carrefour, Co-op, Diageo, Guinness, Iceland, Kwik Save, Somerfield and Morrison. The Group operates in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Channel Islands. Convenience Food accounted for 77% of fiscal 2006 revenues and Ingredients, Agribusiness & Related Property, 23%
