Savannah Foods & Industries, Inc., refines both beet and sugar cane for sale in a variety of forms to consumers and processors. Products are marketed using the following brand names, Dixie Crystals, Evercane, Savannah Gold, Quick'n Sweeet, Sweet Thing and PIONEER, as well as private and control labels. The company operates cane sugar refineries in Georgia, Florida and Louisiana, sugar beet processing plants in Michigan, a sugar beet processing plant in Ohio, and a raw sugar mill in Louisiana. Savannah Foods & Industries, Inc. also packages and distributes other products such as custom made meal kits, salt, pepper, artificial sweetener, non-diary creamer and certain other products which complement its sugar business.
