Company Description
Dover Industries Limited. The Group's principal activity is to operate through three segments: Food Products, Packaging and Food Service. The Food Products segment mills flour from hard and soft wheat for the bakery, biscuit, food service industry and other food products. The Group operates two flour mills and a mix plant in Cambridge, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia. These mills provide the baking industry with a range of flour products and bakery mixes. The mills also package flour under a variety of Retailer Branded labels for the Canadian market. The Packaging segment specializes in packaging for the food industry and general packaging. It operates a folding carton plant in Burlington. The Food Service segment produces food and beverage containers in Burlington and Brampton. Food Products accounted for 63% of 2002 revenues; Packaging, 21% and Food Service, 16%.
