Company Description
Aiya Co., Ltd. was established in 1985 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Skylark Co., Ltd., Japan's largest suburban restaurant chain operator. The company operates one hundred and twenty one outlets under the name of "Muan" and seventy six under "Aiya" in the area covering the Kanto, Chubu and Tokai regions. Restaurant and tea shop operations accounted for 98% of 1999 revenues; foods sales and other, 2%. The company is still a subsidiary of Skylark Co., Ltd., which now holds 63.19% of issued stock.
