Intermark Inc is a diversified holding company operating in the following segments: Turbine Engine Services & Manufacturing, Retail Liquor Stores and Real Estate. In the turbine engine services and manufacturing segment, National Airmotive is the leading commercial franchised distributor and overhaul agency for the Allison family of jet engines, specialising in the overhaul , repair and parts support of Allison 501/T56, 570K and Model 250 engines. This segment accounted for 48% of fis 93 revenues. Liquor Barn is a specialty retailer of wine, spirits, beer and related products making up the retail liquor stores segment and accounting for 42% of revenues. In the real estate segment Ridgewood and Mission West are primarily engaged in acquiring, developing, owning and operating income properties and accounted for the remaining 10% of revenues. At the end of 1992 Intermark and its wholly owned Triton Group subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after failing to make interest and redemption payments on certain debt. Under a pre-packaged plan of reorganisation that has been agreed to in principle, the two companies would combine and issue new common stock in exchange for some $206 million in debt.
