The company operates in two main business segments which are spirits and wines and entertainment. The entertainment segment includes films, music and recreation including theme parks. Products of the beverage segment include Chivas Regal Scotch Whiskey, Mumm Cordon Rouge, Sandeman Original Rich Ruby, Monitor Sparkling Wine and Tropicana Premium Pure orange juice. Entertainment accounted for 52% of fiscal 1998 revenues and spirits and wines, 48%.
