Dynacare Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are to provide a broad menu of testing services ranging from routine testing of bodily fluids and tissues to the most sophisticated molecular genetic testing. The Group provides clinical laboratory testing services in 21 states in the United States as well as in two provinces in Canada. A new PC-based client system has been installed by the Group which gives physician clients direct access to patient test results, order laboratory tests, review utilization, access patient demographics and print copies of the reports. In 2001 the Group began to develop and integrate some 200 targeted esoteric and genetic tests into the latest menu. During 2001 the Company acquired Medical Arts Laboratory, Inc. and Southern Medical Arts Laboratory Inc. The Group's customers include physicians, hospitals and other health care providers who utilize clinical laboratory testing in diagnosing, evaluating and treating diseases and other medical conditions.
