Company Description
Medi-Clinic Corporation Limited. The Group's principal activity is providing hospital services on a cost-effective basis. The Group has nearly 6,400 beds in our network and 12,000 full-time employees servicing more than 50 hospitals countrywide. The Group currently 47 hospitals. Sixteen are located in the Western Cape, nine in Gauteng, five in Mpumalanga, four in Kwazulu-Natal, three in the Free State, three in the Northern Cape, two in the Northwest Province, two in the Limpopo Province and three in Namibia. The Group has major upgrade projects in Morningside and Sandton; expansion at Durbanville and Pietermaritzburg. During 2005, the Group acquired the remaining 50% interest in ER24 Holdings (Pty) Ltd and 100% interest in Phodiso Health Services (Pty) Ltd. Provides hospital services on a cost-effective basis in South Africa and Namibia
