A trauma center provides emergency care for accidents and other traumas 24 hours per day. Trauma centers are ranked either level one or level two based on their facilities and equipment.
I recommend: Shands Jacksonville is the largest of nine hospitals in the Shands HealthCare and University of Florida family and is a level 1 trauma center. Lakeland Regional Medical Center is Polk County's only level 2 trauma center.
