Paracelsus Healthcare Corporation. The principal activities of the Group are owning and operating hospitals and provides acute care and related healthcare medical services in selected markets. The Company's hospitals offer a broad array of general medical and surgical services on inpatient, outpatient and emergency basis. In addition certain hospitals and their related facilities offer rehabilitative medicines, psyschiatric home health and skilled nursing care. During the year the company operated 10 acute care hospitals, with 1287 licensed beds, out of which 8 are owned and the remaining 2 are leased.
