The activities of the Group include designing, manufacturing and providing electromedical pain management and rehabilitation products and servicing for clinical, home healthcare and occupational medicine applications. The company also offers electrotherapy devices which are used in rehabilitation of the injured and provides relief from chronic and acute pain. The company's electrotherapy products consist of neuromuscular stimulators, pulsed direct current devices and interferential stimulators. Distribution of the company's products is both on a direct basis to healthcare providers and their patients and on a wholesale basis to home healthcare dealers. The company acquired Compex S.A., during fiscal 2000. Rehabilitation products accounted for 43% of fiscal 2000 revenues; accessories and supplies, 33% and pain management products, 24%.
