Lifeline Systems, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide a 24-hour personal response monitoring service to the subscribers, primarily elderly individuals with medical or age-related conditions as well as physically challenged individuals. The products consist principally of a communicator which connects to the telephone line in the subscriber's home and a personal help button, which is worn or carried by the individual subscriber and which, when activated, initiates a telephone call from the subscriber's communicator to the Group's central monitoring facilities. The services and products of the Group are marketed to hospitals, senior living facilities and other healthcare related fields. Lifeline is the trademark of the Group.
