The company is a leading manufacturer of infusion and injections systems for administering liquid medications and also manufactures pharmaceutical packaging machinery. The company consists of six divisions; diabetes care (programmable insulin pumps), injections systems (self-administering injection pens), sterile products (disposable products such as infusion sets, cartridges and cannulas), infusion and cardio systems (microdosage and peristaltic pumps), pharmaceutical packaging systems (fully automated packaging machinery for injections systems and medication containers) and turned parts and subsystems for other parties. The company has subsidiaries in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and the USA. Infusion systems accounted for 62% of fiscal 2000 revenues; packaging systems, 14%; injection systems, 21% and turned parts, 3%.
