Coloplast AS. The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and marketing of medical and health care products. The Group operates through two main segments; the Chronic Care Divisions which incorporates Ostomy Care and Continence Care and the Strategic Business Units (SBU) which is divided into Wound Care, Skin Health and Breast Care. Ostomy Care products are used for people whose intestinal outlet or urinary tract has been surgically rerouted through the abdominal wall. Continence Care products are used for people with incontinence due to spinal cord lesions. Wound Care products provides full-range, moist-wound-healing dressing programme, which includes hydrocolloids, alginates, foam dressings, cover dressings and hydrogels. Skin Care products includes barrier cream, moisturisers and soaps for personal and medical use.
