Company Description
Celsion Corporation. The Company's principal activity is to develop medical treatment systems primarily to treat breast cancer and a chronic prostate enlargement condition, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The Group uses minimally invasive focused heat technology for treatment. The Group currently in late stage clinical development of innovative medical devices to treat both Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), a prostate condition common in men over age 55 and breast cancer. The Group is also working with Duke University in the development of heat-sensitive liposome compounds for use in the delivery of chemotherapy drugs to tumor sites, and with Sloan-Kettering on the development of heat-activated gene therapy compounds.
