Magellan Health Services. The Group's principal activity is to provide healthcare services in the behavioral managed healthcare business. The Group manages behavioral healthcare programs for health maintenance organizations, Blue Cross, Blue Shield organizations, insurance companies, corporations, government agencies, labor unions and various state Medicaid programs. The services provided include outpatient programs, intermediate care programs, inpatient treatment services and alternative care services. The Group provides these services through risk-based products, employee assistance programs, administrative service products and with products that combine features of some or all of the products. On 11-Mar-2003 the Group filed for Chapter 11 proceedings. Health plans accounted for 56% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Public, 31% and Workplace, 13%.
