Ecco SA is the world's second largest employment services company with more than 1,100 agencies in more than 30 countries worldwide. Temporary employment is its core activity. The company also provides recruitment, training and consultancy services. It also offers security services (Ecco Securite), contract cleaning services (SM Nettoyage) and has real estate operations. The company has achieved the ISO 9000 quality award for employment services in two European countries. In 1996, the company merged with the Swiss group Adia, in a bid to become the world leader in the field of temporary employment. Employment services accounted for 87% of 95 revenues; security services, 11% and contract cleaning services, 2%.
