Alcoa Inc.(ALCOA). The Group's principal activity is to produce aluminum products. It operates in six segments. Alumina segment includes the mining of bauxite. Primary Metals segment produces aluminum ingot. Flat Rolled Products segment produces and sells aluminum plate, sheet and foil. Engineered Products segment includes hard and soft alloy extrusions, super-alloy castings, aluminum forgings and wheels. Packaging and Consumer segment includes consumer, food service and flexible packaging products; plastic sheet and film for the packaging industry. Extruded and End Products includes hard- and soft-alloy extrusions and architectural extrusions. Alumina includes the mining of bauxite, which is then refined into alumina. The trademarks of the Group include Alcoa, Howmet metal, Huck fasteners, Baco household wraps and Reynolds plastic wrap. It operates in the United States and other countries.
