Chemrez Technologies Incorporated Formerly known as Corro-Coat Incorporated. The Company's principal activity is manufacturing and distributing powder coatings. Powder coating is used in the manufacture of consumer appliances such as air-conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, ovens and ranges to protect both interior and exterior body or housing surfaces. The Company manufactures three kinds of powder paint namely epoxy, polyester and epoxy-polyester. Epoxy based powder coatings are aimed at applications for internal use for products which demand a high degree of surface hardness, wear and tear and resistance to solvents and chemicals and for use in aggressive environments. Polyester based coatings are used primarily for outdoor applications as polyester based coatings exhibit good color and gloss retention on external exposure. Epoxy-polyester exhibit high resistance to yellowing at high temperatures and exhibits good color stability and have lower chemical and solvent resistance compared.
