Beijer Alma AB. The Group's principal activities are the development, manufacture and marketing of industrial springs, cables, industrial valves and sound-absorbent details for the off-road equipment industry. The Group operates in four segments namely Springs, Specialty Cable, High-Speed Machining and Knife Gate Valves. The Spring segment produces industrial springs, wire and flat strip components. The Specialty Cable segment manufactures cables for applications in telecommunications, transportation, nuclear power and defense. The High-Speed Machining segment conducts high-speed machining of aluminum for customers in telecom, defense and other high-tech industries. The Knife Gate Valves segment develops, manufactures and markets knife gate valves for the process industry.
