Coltec Industries Inc manufactures a diversified range of highly-engineered aerospace and industrial products. The company operates through two principal segments: aerospace and industrial Segments. The company's aerospace Segment manufactures landing gear systems, engine fuel controls, fuel injectors, nozzles, turbine blades and related components for commercial and military aircraft. The industrial Segment manufactures packing products, industrial seals, gaskets, air compressors, vacuum pumps and self-lubricating bearings. The international operations of the company includes 18 plants in Canada, Mexico, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and Poland . During 1998, the company acquired Marine and petroleum Mfg., Inc, Tex-O-Lon and Repro-Lon and Sealing division of Groupe Carbone Lorraine. Industrial products accounted for 52% of 1998 revenues and aerospace products, 48%.
