Channel Holdings Plc's operations comprise Carflow Products (UK) Limited ("Carflow") and CQR Security Components Limited ("CQR"), which form the Security Products Group, and Basys Technology Limited ("Basys Technology") which forms the Electronic Systems Group. Carflow supplies physical car security products to the major motor manufacturers in the UK and to motor accessory retailers in the UK and overseas. CQR manufactures and distributes a wide range of products for the security alarm industry, which are sold both under its own brand name and those of major security installers. Basys Technology's business involves the design, manufacture and repair of complex electronic and mechanical equipment, project management and systems engineering, installation and support services and the generation of technical and design documentation. During the 1999 fiscal year, the group disposed Elkron S.p.A. ("Elkron"), Basys Marine Limited ("Marine") and the Display systems and Click Precision Engineers business. Manufacture and distibution of electronic systems accounted for 50% of fis 1999 revs and security products 50%.
